The hostel had a spacious rooftop where I could relax and a bar on the first floor, serving a complimentary welcome drink. It was a great place to chat with fellow travelers from around the world and make new friends. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. In addition, the location was perfect, with a JR train station just 50 meters away, making it convenient to explore the city. There were also plenty of food options, 7/11s, and a supermarket nearby.

I really enjoyed the cozy and inviting atmosphere of the guesthouse. The interior had a charming and traditional feel with its woody and handmade decorations. It felt like stepping into a warm and comforting home away from home. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the general areas were easily accessible, making it easy for me to navigate around the hostel. Whether it was relaxing in the common areas or making my way to the rooftop patio, everything was designed with comfort and convenience in mind.

I would have loved to see more activities or amenities specifically tailored for senior guests. It would have been wonderful if there were organized sightseeing tours or social events that catered to our age group.

The location of the hotel was great, just a few steps away from the train station. There were plenty of food options nearby and a convenience store just around the corner. The staff were friendly and helpful, they even carried our luggage up to the higher floors. The rooms were clean and had all the necessary amenities, including lockable boxes for valuables and under-bed storage for luggage.

There were some negative aspects to our stay. The bed setup was quite uncomfortable, with odd pipes and lights sticking out that made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The rooftop patio at this guesthouse provided an amazing setting for our New Year's celebration. With its great potential for summer parties, we were able to enjoy a fantastic view of the city skyline while ringing in the new year. the staff at the guesthouse were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. We were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable communicating with them in English.

There were a few aspects of our stay that were less than ideal. the kitchen facilities were quite limited, with only a microwave and toaster available for guests to use.

My one night stay at Steps Guesthouse in Tokyo was perfect. The location was awesome, close to subway stations, making it easy to explore the city. The bunk beds were surprisingly spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of a curtain for privacy. I loved that there were bed lamps, allowing me to read without disturbing others. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. I was even welcomed with a drink upon arrival. The downstairs bar provided a great opportunity to socialize with other travelers and meet locals. it was a wonderful experience.

The value for money at this place was outstanding. The beds were super comfortable and the room setup allowed for extra privacy, which was a nice touch. The location was perfect, with a subway station right beside the hotel and plenty of local restaurants and convenience shops nearby. The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English, making our stay even more enjoyable.

For the price we paid, we got excellent value at Steps Guesthouse. The room was cozy and comfortable, with bunk beds that had curtains for privacy. The location was super convenient, right next to the subway entrance and within walking distance to Akihabara. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we even received a welcome drink upon arrival.

The only thing that could have made breakfast better at Steps Guesthouse would be more variety in the choices.

Recently stayed at Steps Guesthouse for a few nights. The hotel is centrally located, with a supermarket next door and a train station to the right. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making communication easy. The room was spacious and traditional, with comfortable futon beds, a TV, and a lovely small bath. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious traditional dishes. It was great to meet other travelers at this popular spot. 100% recommend this hotel!
